Homes needing adaptations

Adapting privately rented accomodation

If you require adaptions to be made to your property please contact your landlord in the first instance. This could be your Housing Association or if you are a Poole council tenant, Poole Housing Partnership.

If you are a Poole resident and your home needs adapting you may be entitled to disabled facility grant to help make the changes you need.

If you need care or support to stay in your rented accommodation, you may be able to get help from adult social care.

If you are unable to resolve the issues then please consider your housing options.

Adapting your own home

If you require adaptions to be made to your property and can not afford this yourself, you may be entitled to a disabled facility grant to help make the changes you need.

If you need care or support to stay in your own home, you may be able to get help from adult social care.
