Integration: youth project

Creekmoor Youth Centre

Creekmoor Youth Centre runs a session for young people with SEN and Disabilities on Monday evening from 6.45pm to 9pm.  

The session:

  • is supported by Short Breaks and is run by youth workers and sessional staff.  
  • has a variety of activities on offer and is open to young people aged between 12 and 16.

Activities on offer include sports, game stations, a coffee bar/tuck shop, key skills, socialising and getting to meet new people along with an assortment of trips out across the year.

Entry cost £1.00 per session.Parents and carers can self-refer or are referred by the Child Health and Disability Team and Children and Young People's Social care.  

There is limited one to one support available.

Limelights Club for Young People

A group of young people with mild to moderate additional needs between 16 and 18 meet at Limelights on Monday evening from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Contact the centre for more information. 

Out and About Dorset

Out and About Dorset create opportunities for adults with severe to moderate learning difficulties to increase their independence and social skills in and out of the community in the Poole area.
