Submit, search, or comment on an appeal
Timing of appeals
You must submit your appeal within 6 months of the council's decision or, if one has not been given, 6 months from the date the decision should have been made.
Householder Applications have to be submitted within 12 weeks of the date of decision.
Appeals can take several months to decide, so it may be better to discuss with your case officer whether changes to your proposal would make it acceptable.
Appeals are dealt with by The Planning Inspectorate and not by the Borough of Poole.
Who can appeal
Applicants or their agent can appeal a decision.
Third parties, including neighbours, cannot appeal a decision once it is made.
