Consultation on school admission arrangements 2018/19

A number of schools are consulting on their admission arrangements for 2018/19.

The consultation runs from Monday 5 December 2016 until Monday 16 January 2017. 

You can send your comments directly to the school(s) or by email to school.admissions@poole.gov.uk

You can read the proposed policies below. Paper copies are also available to view at the Children, Young People and Learning Welcome Area and Poole Central Library, both within the Dolphin Centre.

Ad Astra Infant School

The school have included priority for children of staff. Read the policy.

Haymoor Junior School

The school have included priority for children of staff. Read the policy.

Canford Heath Infant School

The school have included priority for children of staff. Read the policy.

Canford Heath Junior School

The school have included priority for children of staff. Read the policy.

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School

The school have included higher priority for siblings of children already on roll at the school (and will continue to attend) who are not baptised. Read the policy.

Twin Sails Infant School

The school have included priority for children who have siblings at Hamworthy Park Junior, priority for staff, priority for children who are eligible for the service pupil premium and removed the catchment area. Read the policy.

Hamworthy Park Junior School

The school have included priority for children who attend Twin Sails Infant School, priority for children who have siblings at Twin Sails Infant School, priority for staff, priority for children who are eligible for the service pupil premium and removed the catchment area. Read the policy.

There are no other publicly funded schools in Poole proposing to change their admission policies for 2018/19.
